And we care for our clients, our patients’ owners, by looking after them too! Communication and genuine understanding is extremely important to us. We want our clients to know that we’re just as concerned about their pets as they are.
So, how have we tried to achieve our mission?
For accessibility and comprehensive care, we created our unique hub-and-spoke system more than 20 years ago. We have several RCVS-accredited veterinary hospitals open 24 hours a day, each of which serves about 10 to 15 satellite clinics. This enables us to get the maximum benefit from our technology, skills and experience.
In order to achieve and maintain our high standards of care, we have intensive, ongoing training programs for our staff. These include detailed inductions, a comprehensive Buddy System, residency program for less experienced colleagues, practice visits, and teams dedicated to training and practice development and integration. Area managers and partners oversee this process. We have over 70 branch partners and 14 senior partners, all veterinary surgeons, who encourage a culture of caring for our patients and our clients.
