Our Credit Department, led by Elaine Blazey, handle outstanding debt that may have developed as well as handling refunds as required. Along with this roll, the Credit Department also support staff within each Medivet practice by handling our staff accounts and ordering uniforms as well as stationery supplies for each practice. Elaine Blazey - Credit Control Manager
I joined Medivet in June 2007 as the Support Centre receptionist and administrator. I have been the credit control manager since January 2012.
Laura Fitzgerald - Credit Control Administrator
I am originally from South London and moved to Barnet about 16 years ago. I have done various jobs in the past, including pub work, hand finished printing and school dinner lady. I have one daughter, who am I lucky enough to work with here at the support centre!

I am originally from Poland, where I studied political science. I am very much a people person who is open to new experiences and challenges.

I started at Medivet in October 2005 originall y working as a Client Care Assistant where I was only working on Sundays. After a year, I was offered a full time position on reception where I have gained a lot of experience and have now become a qualified insurance advisor. I then went on to become Head Receptionists at our Hendon branch and then left to go onto Maternity leave, when I returned I then went on to work at the Watford 24 hour branch where I was Client Care Assistant. I have three dogs, one is a 4 year old Chihuahua called Archie, I have a 9 year old cross breed called Aliyah and a 1 year 9 month Pug cross Jack Russell called Bailey. I also have a 13 year old cat called Megan. I have recently moved to work with our Credit Control department and look forward to the new challenges ahead of me.
Jamie Lacelle – Credit Control Administrator
Before joining Medivet, I worked for the Animal Medical Centre in North London for two years. Prior to that, I worked as a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines for many years. I love animals and my favourite animal is a Great Dane. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, cooking and going travelling.
Alison Sawyer - Pet Insurance Claims Administrator
I joined Medivet in November 1999 as a receptionist and to handle all the pet insurance claims. I have two pets, 'Widget' the pony and 'Kipper' the cat aka the Jingah Ninjah. Kipper is very much into interior design and is helping me with the appearance of my curtains and wallpaper... thankfully Widget doesn't live at home! I spend some of my spare time judging showing and dressage classes as I am a confirmed equi-addict!
Farhina Bhatti – MHP Administrator
I completed my Msc in Mass Communication Specialisation in Electronic Media (Radio & TV), achieved a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and did a computer and complementary skill development course in Pakistan. I then worked for a news channel and radio before moving to the UK last year. At home I have a rabbit named Mickey. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, surfing the web, and going on outings with my family. I am enjoying my work over here and am loving working at Medivet. All the staff are amazing and this is a fantastic atmosphere to work in.
