Having always wanted to work in the veterinary industry, I spent every weekend of my late teens working at a successful small veterinary group in North West London as a receptionist and nursing assistant. After leaving school I spent time teaching, working for ZSL Whipsnade and in IT project management. I joined Medivet in January 2014 and thoroughly enjoy spending majority of my time working in different practices around the country and meeting new staff. Seeing staff transition from a nervous team upon first meeting, to fully fledged Medivet advocates is what makes my job so rewarding and enjoyable. At home I have working springer spaniel called Lottie and enjoy travelling the world as much as possible.

I joined Medivet originally in 2000 and worked at a number of practices in North West London and in the Enfield area. When I started studying as a veterinary nurse, I was based initially at the Borehamwood practice before going on to join Medivet Hendon 24 hour hospital. In 2006, I joined The Park Veterinary Practice in Cockfosters where I finished my studies and became a registered veterinary nurse. I also became a clinical coach and had my own students to train for quite a few years. In 2013 Park Vets joined Medivet and I expressed my interest to Medivet that I would like to change to my career path to a more managerial role. In January 2014, I joined the Integration Team at the Medivet Support Centre. The change in roles has been very enjoyable. I have a wonderful family at home and along with the pets (dog, cats and reptiles) take up a lot of my evenings and weekends. When time allows, I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis and going to the gym.

I began working for Medivet in November 2006. I always wanted to work with animals since a young age and reached my goal of becoming an RVN and a Head Nurse. I am thrilled to now join the Medivet support centre as an integration team assistant. I currently own 3 cats, 1 guinea pig and 3 doggies, two of which are Jack Russell Terriers and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
