Amy Rouzel - Support Centre Manager & PA to Managing Partner
I started working for Medivet in 1992. When I left school, I worked full time as a floating trainee Nurse and soon started working at Kingsbury, eventually becoming Head Veterinary Nurse. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1996. I started assisting Arnold Levy with administration tasks, alongside my regular nursing duties and then became his PA helping with day to day running of the group and moved to the Support Centre in 2002.
Casey Higgs - Deputy PA to Managing Partner
I previously worked with Elana where I assisted her with employment law matters; however I decided that it was not the right position for me and decided to move on. I was then fortunately offered a different role within Medivet, assisting Amy and Arnold. My current duties involve general administrative support for Arnold, assisting with the wage allocation and rota queries, keeping records of all sickness and holiday absence at the support centre, taking minutes for the partner’s weekly Operations meetings and helping to keep the new HR Pro database up to date.
Elana Telfer - Employment Law Manager
I joined Medivet in 1996 as a General Office assistant after completing an Art History degree. It was supposed to be a temporary 4 month position but years later, I'm still here! I have been involved in various roles at the Medivet Support Centre, including being a PA to the late Asher Teper.
Alice Olive - Employment Law Assistant
I joined Medivet in October 2013 and currently assist Elana in dealing with employment law matters. I previously spent 3 years working as a HR and Operations Co-Ordinator for an IT company after graduating with an English degree from The University of Kent. I am keen to develop in my role and look forward to my future within Medivet.
Isabella Mcnally – Employment Law Assistant
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology which I obtained in 2005. Before joining Medivet, I worked in recruitment for the NHS. I am particularly interested in tribunals and dealing with grievances because I like resolving issues and creating a positive conclusions in which all parties are happy. I have no pets of my own but have been adopted by my partner’s mum’s cat called Tux! Outside of work, I enjoy drama and dancing. I also love the escapism of a good book and spending time with my friends and family.
Katie Armstrong – Employment Law Assistant
I hold a BA (Hons) in Business with Human Resources. Before joining Medivet, I have worked in various HR positions within the insurance and facilities industries. My special areas of interests are within the TUPE process and employee relations case work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, going to festivals, holidays and reading. I am also a huge cat lover!
Helen Joyce – Employment Law Assistant
Before joining Elana's team in September 2016 I was an Assistant HR Advisor for a care & support organisation in Windsor. I graduated with a degree in Business and HR Management in 2007 and then worked in retail operations management for 8 years before returning to an HR-specific role last year. I am a massive dog lover - literally - as I have a major soft spot for large breeds.
Ellie Sheridan-Swain – Recruitment Manager
Before making my career change into HR and recruitment, I worked as a professional dancer, singer and actress! I worked abroad performing on stage for holiday makers, as well as charity shows at Her Majesty’s Theatre and London Palladium. I trained at Gypsy Booth Dance college where completed my I.S.T.D, RAD and LAMDA certificates for talents! I am thrilled to be a part of the Medivet family as the recruitment manager. I have over 11 years of experience working within HR and recruitment and have recently completed my CIPD in HR Management. At home, I have a Chihuahua named Tilly and a German Spitz named Alfie. I still love dancing and singing in my free time, as well as spending time with my husband and fur babies.
Naomi Mealing – Recruitment Officer
I qualified with 10 GCSEs, a GNVQ in Business Studies, and a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. I’m about to start a CIPD level 5 in HR Management. Before joining Medivet, I worked in recruitment, HR, learning and development, and retail management. Outside of work I enjoy dancing (grade 8 in Classic Ballet accredited by the Royal Academy of Dance), art, customising clothes, wildlife and playing with animals. I love HR, recruitment, and my job at Medivet!
Megan Saunby – Recruitment Administrator
Before joining Medivet I was a database administrator at ESG. I am currently studying the Level Three CIPD course with ICS learn and hope to finish this within the next few months. I love the fast pace of working in recruitment and I'm looking forward to the challenges it brings! At home, I have two pets, one dogs and one cat. My dog is a rough Collie and his name is Nestor! My cat is Persian and his name is Darcy. Outside of work I'm a huge nerd! On weekends, I take part in Magic the Gathering tournaments and like to spend my evenings on either my PC, XBOX or PS4.
Julia Thomas - Deputy Manager – Vet Personnel
I look after the vets rotas for the North West London and Hertfordshire regions and joined the Support Centre in October 2011. I have a doggy called Marlee.
Hilary Spry - Deputy Manager - Nurse Personnel
I look after the Veterinary Nurses Rota in the Oxford area. I joined Medivet in November 2010. I was previously working for The Cabair Group Ltd, the head office flying school at Elstree Aerodrome. I have a Cat called "Flossy".
Jasmine Williams - Veterinary Nurse Personnel Assistant
I look after the Nurses rota for the North West London region. I previously worked as a Corporate Receptionist before joining Medivet in September 2012.
Emma Elsdon-Ede – Nurse Personnel Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked for a small, independent opticians as a receptionist for over 5 years. I have a cat of my own called Jinx who is a cross between a tabby and a maine coon. In my free time I enjoy shopping and going to the gym attempting cardio!
Paige Gouldthorpe - Nurse Personnel Assistant *Maternity leave*
I joined the Medivet family in April 2012 as a student veterinary nurse. I previously studied at Capel Manor College and achieved a National Certificate in animal care. I am thrilled to now be a personnel assistant at the Medivet Support Centre.
Becky White - Staff Documentation & Database Administrator
I joined Medivet as personnel assistant in 2005. After returning from maternity leave in May 2008, I am now in charge of all the administration for the personnel team. Most of my spare time is taken by looking after my daughter Grace and two Labradors called Tiggs and Missy.
Carly Walker – Nurse Personnel Assistant
I joined the Medivet Personnel Team in 2015. I write the rota for the Liverpool area. Before joining Medivet I was working for the Big Yellow Storage Self Storage Company in a sales/customer service role. I am really looking forward to this new challenge. I have four children at home, all boys, aged between 17 and 7. I enjoy doing family activities with my sons as well as going out without them as you can imagine!
Jess Budd – Nurse Personnel Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked in market research and at Waitrose for 3 years. I enjoy interacting with people and working within customer service. At home I have a golden retriever. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and being active.
Priyanka Sharma – Nurse Personnel Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I was previously temping at Wickes head office in Watford as an administrator. I helped the Customer Operations team with creating and distributing reports to all stores and their managers. My background has been mainly in customer service and administrative work. Outside of work, I’m a keen photographer and love travelling.
