Ahmed Asaad – Procurement Manager
I joined Medivet in September 2015. I work closely with Kevin Morris Head of Operations and other senior partners to review the procurement function in order to implement an efficient and cost effective purchasing and supply service to all our practices and departments throughout Medivet. I will be developing relationships with key suppliers to improve quality and deliver performance in-line with our practices’ expectations. I am very excited about this new role and I’m looking forward to working with all of our branches across the UK.
I come from a private healthcare background. I worked at BUPA Cromwell Hospital for over 11 years. This has given me a vast amount of knowledge on medical/surgical consumables, instruments and equipment. Since the acquisition of Cromwell Hospital by BUPA in 2008, I became part of a large procurement group based in Holborn, London. I participated/lead a variety of category specialist projects in medical, facility management, IS, professional services and marketing & print. This joined effort achieved a saving of over 22 million pounds in 2014. This qualified us to be shortlisted for CIPS Supply Management awards 2015 (Best Improved Operation).
I look forward to applying all my previous experience to Medivet and working with everyone!
Danielle James – Procurement Administrator
Before joining Medivet, I worked in Barristers chambers in central London as a clerk and administrator. I enjoy dealing with processes and seeing them through from start to finish. At home I have two dogs called Skye and Harvey, who are both Weimaraners and are mother and son. Outside of work I enjoy going to my local gym where I take part in numerous classes. I love socialising with friends in my spare time, going shopping and also spending time with my two nephews.
