Evgeni Hristoskov - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified in 2004 at the Traigan University in Bulgaria. I worked for 3 years as a vet in Bulgaria and in 2007, I moved to the UK. My previous job was working with small animals in Norfolk. I am currently studying for a certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
Mark Hughes - Veterinary Surgeon
After finishing my studies as a veterinary surgeon at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in sunny Spain in 2008, I spent 2 years treating cattle. After that I decided I needed a change and decided I wanted to treat small animals, which I've always had a passion for. Most of my pets have had to remain in Spain with my family as bringing my two boxers, two horses and two foals would have been too much to handle! But I was able to bring along our miniature Schnauzer Ayla! Outside of work I enjoy all kinds of sport but mostly cycling, hiking and survival! Whenever I'm back in Spain I enjoy riding my horses as much as possible. I look forward to meeting you at our St Ives practice.

At home, I have an Ibizian Hound named Sansa; I rescued her from Spain when I worked on a neutering programme there. In my spare time, I enjoy road cycling, mountain biking, hiking and Pilates.
