Veterinary Surgeon

Rachel BlooreRachel Bloore - Head Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated in London in 2007 and have particular interests in soft-tissue surgery and exotics. In my spare time I enjoy walking my Tibetan Terrier Marley and caring for my exotic pets. I have 2 Tortoises, a Bearded Dragon and a collection of corn snakes, who I breed on a yearly basis.

Nursing Team

Sam CritcherSam Critcher – Head Veterinary Nurse

I have obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from The College of Animal Welfare in Huntingdon. I have been in practice since the age of seventeen, including the three years of training. My special areas of interest lie in anaesthesia, theatre practice, and orthopaedics. At home, the local stray adopted my partner and me, and is now a full member of the family. I also have my rescue dog Bella – a stubborn old girl! Outside of work I enjoy going to music gigs and wising up on my next course or certificate of choice to better myself.

Kelly HodsonKelly Hodson - Student Veterinary Nurse

Before working at Medivet I studied an animal nursing assistant course. I then became a Patient Care Assistant at Medivet St Ives. Now, I am studying to become a veterinary nurse with Medivet.

Kayte Beech - PCAKayte Beech – Patient Care Assistant

I have a level 3 Horse Care and Management degree as well as a level 3 extended diploma in Animal Care and Management. Before joining Medivet as a patient care assistant, I worked as a shift leader at JD Wetherspoon. I have a special interest in anatomy and physiology, biology, genetics and animal behaviour. I look forward to learning and developing my skills further in all of these areas with Medivet. In my spare time I enjoy art, playing video games and dog agility.
