Veterinary Surgeons

Alex Selles LlorensAlex Selles Llorens - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I started here at Forest Lodge in 2011, and became a branch partner 2 years later. I have a strong interest in oncology and dermatology. I love the area in which I live and work and I am married with a young daughter who loves to visit the clinic.

Chris AuklandChris Aukland - Veterinary Surgeon

I am passionate about helping your pets be as healthy as possible, as naturally as possible. I like to combine the very best of conventional medicine & surgery with the very best of natural medicines. I am a fully qualified homoeopathic vet and have been working with an integrated holistic approach to pet health for thirty years. For clients wanting an alternative, I will use homoeopathy, herbal medicine, acupuncture and nutrition to gently support your pets through the different stages of their path through life. Outside work I love kayaking, climbing and Taoism.

Nursing Team

Karen BelcherKaren Belcher - Head Veterinary Nurse

I joined the lovely team here on a part time basis in October 2007. I have a degree in zoology and went on to become a zoo keeper for several years. Then I developed an interest in the veterinary side, so trained in a mixture of small, large and equine practices before moving to this area in 2006. I am married with 2 children and have a very scruffy Border Terrier called Rosie. I love going to the cinema, reading, spending time on my allotment and walking in the Ashdown Forest.

Natasha BehaggNatasha Behagg - Student Veterinary Nurse

I have been working at Medivet Forest Row since February 2013. I am in my final year at the Medivet Training College and hope to qualify as a veterinary nurse this summer! At home I have several dogs which are my full time job when not at work.

Lily Evans - Mobile PCALily Evans - Student Veterinary Nurse

I started as a PCA with Medivet in November 2014 and began my veterinary nurse training in September 2015. I find exotics particularly interesting and can't wait to learn more. I have 3 naughty little dogs at home to keep me busy.

Reception Team

Val RobertsonVal Robertson - Client Care Assistant

I have been with Forest Lodge since 2007. Previously, I was a primary school teacher for many years and then completely changed track and went back to college to train as a complementary health therapist. I have had dogs all my life and it is great to spend time with so many different animals at work. I also enjoy going to the theatre, exploring the countryside, listening to music, dancing and reading in my spare time.

Debbie JohnsonDebbie Johnson - Client Care Assistant

I worked as a Phlebotomist/Minor surgery nurse at Lingfield Surgery but animals have always been my passion. In 2009, I started a small wildlife rescue & a couple of years later, we found Forest Lodge to help us. Working with wildlife has made me realise that I needed a change of direction & I was lucky enough start working with the team in July 2013.
