Ryk Botes - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I joined Medivet in 2013 upon my return from California. Having worked here for a few months I recognized the high standard Medivet works to and decided to become partner in Chafford Hundred branch. I qualified as a veterinarian in 1990 and over the years developed a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. We perform advanced surgery here at Chafford Hundred, including hip replacements, spinal surgery, advanced elbow surgery as well as many other types. I also enjoy medicine and love the challenge of investigative diagnostics.
Karine Chan - Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated in 2012 from the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining Medivet, I spent a year working in a small animal practice in Yorkshire. I have special interests in surgery and internal medicine.
Claire Howard – Veterinary Nurse
I previously worked at Medivet Chafford Hundred where I spent more than 7 years. I completed my Veterinary Nurse training while at Chafford Hundred. After a stint working a Medivet Chadwell Heath, I am happy to now be back as a Veterinary Nurse at Medivet Chafford Hundred. I own two horses called Blossom and Poppy and a rescue border collie named Holly.
Niki Kenney - Student Veterinary Nurse
I joined Medivet as Client Care Assistant in 2013. I loved working for a Vet so much I decided to train as a Veterinary Nurse! At home, I have 3 lizards and a cat of my own. In my spare time, you can usually find me in the cat ward, playing with all the kitties!
Charlotte Farrow - Patient Care Assistant
I previously worked as a receptionist/administrator for a construction company and also have a BTEC national diploma in public services. I hope to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse and go on to work with large animals or horses.
Donna Crump - Client Care Assistant
Prior to joining Medivet I worked as an Administrator for a bridal wear company. I am very pleased to be a part of Medivet as I have always had a love for animals since I was a child.
Lizzy McKenzie - Client Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I studied Animal Science as well as worked at a kennel whilst at college. I then went on to work in practice for over 4 years as a care assistant. I have a particular interest in dogs. I enjoy socialising with my partner, friends and family as well as going on holiday and shopping in my spare time.
