Bogdan Potirnac - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated in 2011 from Cluj-Napoca University, Romania and went on to work in a mixed animal practice. I relocated to the UK in 2014, and since then I have been volunteering at PDSA, Coventry. I am looking forward to meeting all of my patients at Medivet, Southend-on-Sea.
Hana Dzurikova – Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2013 and studied at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Science Brno in the Czech Republic. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a practice manager in a busy small animal practice in South Wales and am particularly interested in soft tissue surgery. At home, I have a rescue cat named Archibald and a rescue dog called Timmy. In my spare time, I enjoy horse riding, painting, travelling and getting to know people of all cultures!
Emma Livermore - Head Veterinary Nurse
I have now been a Veterinary Nurse for 15 1/2 years and attended Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1995-96 qualifying in 1997. For many years I have run weight clinics at the practice from which I have had many success stories. In July 2007 I was promoted to Head Nurse and as well as my normal duties have taken on more administration work. I have a black labrador called 'Hollie' and enjoy taking her for long walks.
Natalie Romani - Student Veterinary Nurse
I started working for Medivet in October 2009 as a trainee veterinary nurse. I initially worked as a floating nurse, moving between all the branches in the region, but since November 2010 I have been a permanent member of the team at Chelmsford, which I love! I have just completed my first year at college and passed all my exams and am looking forward to the next year. I have a beautiful Rottweiler called Pacha, a cat I rescued called Batman and lots of guinea pigs.
Fredrika Kircher - Student Veterinary Nurse
I have always wanted to work with animals and previously completed a diploma in Animal Management. At home I have 4 cats, 2 rabbits and a hamster and I enjoy horse-riding in my spare time.
Hayley Knight - Student Veterinary Nurse
Before joining Medivet, I worked at Fitness First as a level 3 personal trainer. I'm also first aid qualified and have a BND in Sports Science. I hope to qualify as a veterinary nurse and enjoy my new fulfilling career.
Keran Jarvis - Client Care Assistant
I first started working here in 1989; at that time I was the only receptionist working with 1 vet. I loved being hands on with the animals and learnt a lot during that time. I have been full time for 18 years now and I love being part of a very friendly and supportive team. I have 2 dogs, Lhasa apsos called 'Ben' and 'Tiny' and a cream British Shorthair kitten called 'Digby'.
Sarah Prosser - Client Care Assistant
I joined Medivet in September 2011 and have previously worked in retail for 11 years. I have two house rabbits called Ruby and Sid.
Nicola Wright - Client Care Assistant
I have worked at Bishopscourt for 4 years but was a client here for many years before that. I have an American Cocker Spaniel called 'Henry' who is 8 years old and very naughty. Henry is one of Emma's weight watchers success stories. When he was 1 year old I bought him a little coat and it would not fasten up as he was too fat. He is now 3kg trimmer and has a very fetching Burberry coat that fits him perfectly! I think we have a great team at Bishopscourt and I enjoy being part of it.
