Stuart Munro - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I grew up in Scotland, and qualified from Edinburgh University in 1990. After working in a couple of practices in the southeast of England, I joined Medivet in 1994. I initially worked as a floating vet, and then managed the newly opened Borehamwood clinic for a year. At the end of 1995 I became a partner at Borehamwood. I have a special interest in internal medicine and dermatology.
Sarah Hall - Head Nurse
I have always wanted to work with animals and started working for Medivet in 2003. I floated between branches for about a year and then I was given the opportunity of a permanent position at the Borehamwood branch, where I have been ever since. I have worked my way up to Practice Co-ordinator and enjoy the challenges and rewards that running a practice brings. I enjoy all aspects of my job but in particular I am interested in animal behaviour and preventative healthcare. I enjoy travelling and have been to several places around the world including Thailand, South Africa (where I volunteered with an Animal Sanctuary), China, Alaska, Nevada, Belgium, Austria, Greece and Iceland to name a few. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Laura Turner – Patient Care Assistant
I am originally from Norfolk and moved to London just before I started working at Medivet in September 2015. Before Medivet, I worked in a horse sanctuary helping to look after and rehabilitate rescued horses. I have also previously volunteered at a Dogs Trust centre and a dog training centre in Norfolk. I have a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge; I hope my degree will help me to provide the best care possible for the patients as I still have a keen interest in animal behaviour. I am looking forward to studying at college to qualify as a veterinary nurse. In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, skiing and horse riding.
