 Veterinary Surgeons

Jodie FryattJodie Fryatt - Head Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Bristol University in 2008 and started work in a mixed practice in East Sussex.  In 2011 I moved to a small animal practice in South London and love being able to focus on companion animals.  My fiancé and I decided to move 'North' to be closer to our friends and family, and we are looking forward to setting up home with our springer spaniel Pip. In my spare time I love walking and swimming - as does Pip!

Alex BorgesAlex Borges - Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Portugal and decided to move to the UK to further my career. After relocating to the UK, I volunteered and worked in practices in for a few months. I started with Medivet as a floating vet and recently became the second vet in Cockfosters which I am very excited about. In my spare time I spend lots of time with my cat and visit my two dogs in Portugal every chance I get.

After a career in travel, I finally decided to embark on my dream job working with animals and joined Medivet in January 2013. At home I currently have a labrador called Brooke. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

Meryl LevensonMeryl Levenson - Patient Care Assistant

I had a work experience placement from school with Russ and stayed in touch during my training at Capel Manor College. I then joined the practice in 1998 as a trainee nurse, gaining my Animal Nurse Assistant qualification in 2005. I have a particular interest in critical care, theatre practice and geriatric medicine. Charmaine and I are responsible for night duties - we will keep a careful eye on in-patients throughout the night.

I began working at Medivet Cockfosters when I was just 14 and have stayed ever since. I am responsible for the paperwork side of things in the practice.  I have been helping send-off client's insurance claims for many years so if you need any help or advice with insurance feel free to come and ask! I am lucky enough to say that I really love my job!
