Dimitrios Alexopoulos – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
At the end of 2015, I qualified as a veterinary surgeon and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine, in Greece. Before joining Medivet in 2016, I was studying in Greece. I am particularly interested in medicine and surgery. I have two cats back in Greece. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the cinema, playing basketball and socialising with friends.
Cathy Thora Kruchem – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I studied in Porto, Portugal and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in July 2015. Before joining Medivet, I worked in Portugal for a few months and then moved to the UK. I have many interests in my field of work, particularly in pathology, soft tissue surgery, and animal behaviour. Back in Portugal I have a four year old stray called Maria, and a six month old cat called Shitake. Outside of work I enjoy anything nature-related! I also love photography!
Dancalia D’Amico – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon
In July 2013, I qualified with an MSc in Veterinary Science and I studied at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, in Naples, Italy. Before joining Medivet, I worked in small animal practices in Naples and also at university. I am particularly interested in feline medicine and clinical pathology. At home, I have nine cats and two dogs! In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, listening to music and travelling.
Sara Cristina Macedo Santos – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in September 2015 and graduated from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal. Before joining Medivet, I had six months of work experience with three months at Medivet Hendon. I also completed my master’s thesis before graduating. I am particularly interested in emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound and rehabilitation. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, walking, having picnics, cycling, spending time with friends and travelling. I love meeting new people and experiencing other cultures!
Susanna Cattaneo – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in Milan, Italy, in 2015. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a Vet in Budget Vets, South Wales. My special interests are within internal medicine and critical care. In Italy, I have five dogs; four are Spaniel Bretons and one is a medium cross-breed. Their names are Tim, Zip, Cico, Dora and Linda. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, running and travelling abroad.
Michal Sidorowicz - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I spent over 15 years working as a zoo volunteer in my city and about 25 years having a zoo in my room! I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and I just can't imagine myself working in any other field.
Leah Jackson - Dalston Area Manager and Blood Bank Manager
I started nursing for Medivet in August 2009. After three and a half long and hard years of studying, I became a qualified registered veterinary nurse in August 2014. I then became head nurse at Hemel Hempstead, which is my biggest achievement so far. I thoroughly enjoy my job, as each day is different and always challenging. I also manage the blood bank with Denise, helping save dogs lives through blood donations. I own a pet dog called Midge, who lives at my parents. Midge is a tibetan terrier who enjoys his mummy cuddles when she comes home and his long country walks.
Leah Deacon - Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse
I recently completed a degree in Chemistry, and have now joined Medivet as a Patient Care Assistant. This is my dream job because I get to work with and help animals. At home I have two cats called Penny and Bailey.
Andrew William James Seeley – Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse
I completed my degree in Animal Management in 2013 before joining the Medivet family as a patient care assistant. I thoroughly enjoy working with all types of animals and am looking forward to developing my skills further with Medivet. At home, I have a West Highland Terrier of my own. I enjoy reading, watching TV, socialising with friends and being adventurous in my free time.
Elizabeth Dale - Student Veterinary Nurse
I graduated with a BSc in Zoology at St. Andrews University. Before I joined Medivet I worked on an organic farm. At home I have some fish, I also regularly visit my Mum's two cats. In my spare time I enjoy playing music, walking, visiting country pubs and meeting up with friends.
Kate Musk – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have completed my Animal Management Level 3 and my Dog Grooming Level 2 and 3. Before joining Medivet, I was a dog groomer for three years. I love animals and would love to become a veterinary nurse one day! At home, I have one naughty little Brindle Terrier named Toby. In my spare time, I enjoy going horse riding and dressage, and walking.
Sophie Eaton Lain – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I graduated from the Samuel Ryder Academy with GCSEs. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a Cattery Assistant and am particularly interested in hydrotherapy and behavioural rehabilitation. I have a ragdoll kitten named Luna at home. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and travelling.
Kirsty Southey – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have qualified in level 2 in Animal Care and Welfare. Before joining Medivet, I worked in a school for children with special needs. I also looked after animals that were used in animal care lessons, from goats and sheep to ferrets, lizards, and rodents. At home I currently have a Syrian hamster. Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton, riding motorbikes, and keeping fit!
Leila Dixon – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
In June 2015 I obtained a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management. Before joining Medivet, I worked in Waitrose and volunteered at the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity. I am particularly interested in canine hydrotherapy and I look forward to learning more about this. At home I have one rescue Border Collie called Dan. Outside of work I enjoy doing photography, kayaking, and travelling.
Kara Wallis – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a Diploma in Animal Psychology. Before joining Medivet, I spent many years working at Heathrow Airport. I love cats and have three of them at home; Molly (a black and white Domestic Shorthair), Rupert (a black and white Domestic Longhair) and Purdy, who is a ginger long haired tortoiseshell colour. In my spare time, I enjoy baking and spending time with my cats.
Chelsea Allen – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked part time in retail as a customer advisor whilst studying for a diploma in Animal Management. I have always loved animals from a young age and I am excited to eventually qualify as a veterinary nurse, I have a particular interest in surgical nursing and rehabilitation. At home I have two German Shephard’s called Amber and Simba, two rabbits, a hamster and tropical fish. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my friends and walking my dogs.
Jessica Stacy - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I completed an extended diploma in Animal Management as well as worked at a large dog kennel. I previously worked as a veterinary nurse assistant. I enjoy exotics and dogs but also have an interest in surgery. I have two dogs at home, a Husky and an American Bulldog. I enjoy dog walking and socialising with friends in my free time.
Bethany Congrave – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I studied at Shuttleworth College where I obtained my Level Three Animal Management Diploma in 2016. I am really interested in dog socialisation and at home I have two Border Terriors named Ben and Barney, and a Cocker Spaniel named Lilly. Outside of work, I enjoy painting.
Charlotte Arnall - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I studied Animal Care and Animal Management in college. I am currently studying Veterinary Nursing at Oaklands College. I am very excited to join Medivet as a Patient Care Assistant. I have a number of pets at home including my horse, Hope, my Mini Schnauzer, Darcey, tropical fish and I will soon be getting a kitten! I enjoy horse riding and competing on my horse in my free time. I also enjoy running, being with friends and walking my dog
Hollie Cody – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked part-time as a counter assistant at a Pharmacy while I studied in Sixth Form. I love animals with a particular interest in animal welfare. At home, I have a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Bow! Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and volunteering at the stables.
Shona Brennan – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked as an animal nursing assistant at Easipetcare. I am excited to progress with Medivet and start my student nurse training. At home, I have a Labradoodle called Carrig which is the Irish meaning of 'rock' as I see him as my rock through everything! I also have two Lionhead sister rabbits called Bonnie and Morgan. Outside of work I enjoy discovering new places to walk my dog, and reading up on all things veterinary! In my spare time, I also have a small dog grooming business, which I run from my home.
Roberta Julia Bellusci – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I studied Animal Care at Berkshire College Of Agriculture for four years. Before working at Medivet, I was working as a sales assistant at Tesco. At home I have three chickens - they are all Rhode Island Reds. When I’m not at work I love to play tennis and relax.
