Yaiza Valeron FoldenYaiza Valerón Folden – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2012, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Spain. As soon as I qualified, I started working in a small animal practice in Spain and then moved to Northern Ireland and worked in the research & development department of a pharmaceutical company for two years. I really missed working in practice, so this lead me to my career at Medivet. My special interest in my area of work is surgery and imaging. Back in Gran Canaria, I have two dogs, “Harry” who is a naughty but lovely Jack Russell, and “Layka” who is a gorgeous cross-breed. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with my dogs, diving, going to the beach and travelling.
