Maria Tokarska - Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified in Poland as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2014 before working as a volunteer at Medivet Coventry. I am looking forward to meeting all of my patients and clients.
Carrianne Hunt - Head Veterinary Nurse
Charlotte Knight - Student Veterinary Nurse
I have a National Diploma in Animal Management from Brooksby Melton College, as well as a degree in Zoo Biology. I have completed work experience both in the UK and abroad in a range of animal institutions including an Elephant Rehabilitation Centres in Africa. I have always wanted to work with animals in the veterinary industry, and am very excited to be a part of Medivet where I can fulfil this!
Alyson Pegg - Client Care Assistant
I started working as a receptionist in December 1997. before this I worked in the retail trade for 7 years and prior to that in school catering whilst my children were young. At home I live with my husband, we have been married for 33 years and we have 2 grown up children and also a grandson who we adore. His name is Joshua and he is 2 and a half years old. We have 2 dogs, both of which were rescue dogs and their names are Megan and Eddie. I enjoy my job as it is different from day to day and I am looking forward to my future with Medivet.
Grainne Freeman – Midlands Area Manager
I finished my degree in Business Management and Economics in 1997 and began working in the wine trade, however, I always felt as though something was missing. In 2003, having done some travelling, I decided to start my career again and retrain as a veterinary nurse. I loved working with the clients and patients alike and enjoyed my role as a head nurse. When the practice I worked at in 2009 became part of the Medivet group, I was asked if I would like to become an area manager. I have very much enjoyed working here ever since. I love the variety of my job, and knowing we are all working together to help those that can't help themselves is always rewarding. I still love the animal aspect of my job and I am not above sneaking into the kennel room to snuggle kittens on a regular basis.
