Welcome to Banovallum Vets in Horncastle

Our outstanding team of veterinary surgeons and nurses aim to ensure your pet's health and welfare is at the core of everything we do. We understand the importance of having an experienced veterinary team that you can trust, and that’s why we deliver the highest standard of care to your pet with a caring and personal attitude.

Banovallum Vets joined the Medivet family in October 2015 and is a well-equipped practice with modern facilities. This includes X-ray, ultrasound, dental equipment and surgical facilities. As well as this, we have separate cat and dog wards. Our facilities enable us to perform advanced treatment as well as allowing us to deal with most cases in our practice, including emergencies.

In addition to the facilities available here at Horncastle, we also have two smaller walk-in clinics: Medivet Coningsby and Medivet Woodhall Spa. Both practices focus on offering a consultation-only service, and all our clients are welcome to use these practices should they wish to.

If you require any further information about Medivet Horncastle or our associated practices, please simply contact us on 01507 522236 and one of our team members will be only too happy to help. We hope to see you and your pets soon.

David KenyonDavid Kenyon – Practice Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

After qualifying at Onderstepoort, South Africa in 1992, I spent a few years working at various practices in Pretoria. In 1995, we decided to try working in the UK, and joined Medivet, back in the day when they only had 11 practices! My daughter was born at Watford General Hospital in 1997, and we decided to return to South Africa to bring her up with family. I continued working for Medivet on and off until 2000 when I returned to Pretoria and bought into Hatfield Bird & Animal Hospital. We sold this practice in November 2015. Returning to Medivet after 16 years has been an interesting experience, and I'm highly impressed with what has been achieved. Having owned and run my own practice for 16 years, I appreciate the value in Medivet's support, allowing me to concentrate on my career and creating the right atmosphere for my staff, clients and their pets. When I'm not at work, I enjoy scuba diving (I'm a PADI Dive Master), running, walking, cycling, swimming and golf.
