Scott Parlett – Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I am originally from King's Lynn and qualified with a Veterinary Science degree from the University of Bristol in 2002. After qualifying, I spent 3 years in mixed practice and gained a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. After a number of locum roles across the UK and travelling overseas, I returned to East Anglia to work as a senior clinician to enhance my surgical skills even further. I have since settled locally with my young family. I am excited to be leading Medivet Hellesdon and am looking forward to building a great relationship with our clients and their pets.
Katherine Aldham – Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a MRCVS in 2012 from the Royal Veterinary College. Before joining Medivet, I worked at a mixed practice in Suffolk and also had an internship at an equine referral hospital for a year. I am particularly interested in internal medicine. At home, I have a dog called Teddy. In my spare time, I enjoy long dog walks and skiing.
Colette Vaissiere - Head Veterinary Nurse
I have been working with Medivet since September 2007. I qualified in August 2010 and have been head nurse at Hellesdon from January 2013. I really enjoy getting to know our clients and their pets at Medivet Hellesdon. I have always been passionate about animals and love my job. I really enjoy training future vet nurses, running nurse clinics and have a keen interest in feline behaviour and nutrition. At home I have three dogs; Rapheal, Tahloolah and Belle, four cats; Punkie, Doolie, Baby, and Jasper, two guinea pigs; Ben and Jerry, and a rabbit called Princess. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, spending time with my family and friends, baking and reading.
Danielle Vennard – Patient Care Assistant
I gained a Level 3 National Diploma in Animal Management and also gained a Level 3 Work Board Diploma in Zoo Management. Before joining Medivet, I worked in various boarding and rescue kennels, and also worked as an apprentice zoo keeper. I love to help animals and cannot wait to progress in my career and help them further! At home, I have a two and a half year old blue Staffordshire bull terrier called Loki. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dog and socialising him as he is not too fond of other dogs. I am very sociable and enjoy going out with my friends.
