Sian Humphries - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
After graduating from University of Cambridge in 2012, I worked primarily with dogs and cats in West London. Before starting in Finsbury Park, I volunteered on a small island in the Caribbean where they lack permanent vet care and hope to continue my involvement in animal charity endeavours wherever possible. I enjoy both medicine and surgery, but my special interests are emergency medicine and pet behaviour problems. At home, I have an adopted bearded dragon, called Punk, who is now three years old. Her favourite pastime is to run around my flat to see what I am doing! I look forward to meeting you and your pets and am thrilled with the opportunity to look after and treat a wide variety of pets here at Finsbury Park – including your small furries, birds and reptiles.
Laoise Devonport - Head Veterinary Nurse
I qualified in Ireland and came to London in April 2014 to work for Medivet. I decided to come to London for an adventure and to work in such a great city. Working with animals as a veterinary nurse is what I have always wanted to do. I enjoy it immensely and could not imagine working in any other field. I always love meeting new people and working with all kinds of different animals at the practice. At home, I have a cat called Wilber and used to have a lovely little mongrel terrier called Scruffy. I have now become a Lecturer at the Medivet Training College and am excited about my new role!
Alanna Boyce - Student Veterinary Nurse
I have always wanted to work with animals and I am finally on the road to becoming a veterinary nurse. What I bring to Finsbury park is my charisma and that every one of your pets that comes in will get a cuddle and a treat when meeting me. I want animals to feel that coming to the vets is not a scary place but a place where they get spoilt!
