Medivet have a team of mobile staff who deliver the highest standards of veterinary care backed up by a personal and caring attitude dedicated to providing service of the highest standard in a sympathetic, friendly and reassuring manner across North London. 

Mobile Veterinary Surgeons

Jolene Lightman - Mobile VetJolene Lightman - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from University of Edinburgh in July 2014, and have a special interest in medicine and clinical pathology. I look forward to getting to know my clients and fulfilling a long lasting career at Medivet!

Tom Elwes - Mobile VetTom Elwes - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2014. I have an interest in all areas of veterinary practice, but I particularly have a special interest in surgery. In my spare time I like to travel, sail and practice photography.

Jose GuimareasJosé Maia Pinto Guimaraés – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon 

In April 2015, I graduated with an MSc in Veterinary Medicine from the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar at the University of Porto, in Portugal. Working as a veterinary surgeon at Medivet is my first job since qualifying in 2015! I am particularly interested in neurology and internal medicine. Back in Portugal, I have a five-year-old golden retriever named Daisy. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, playing football, surfing and socialising. 

Caroline Dewhurst - Mobile VetCaroline Dewhurst - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated in 2009 from the École Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort. I previously worked with Equine, Equine Lameness, Reproduction and beyond as well as Small Animal Medicine. I have relocated to London from France and I am very excited to join Medivet as a Veterinary Surgeon. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, cycling, shopping, traveling (I completed a year abroad before joining Medivet!) and reading. 

Anna Larissa ButschekAnna Butchek - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in Munich, Germany in 2012 and completed my Doctor in Veterinary Medicine at the Institute of Pathology in 2014. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a Veterinary Surgeon in and around London. I have a special interest in Internal medicine and ultrasound. I do have a cat at home and in my free time I enjoy nature, hiking, riding, travelling and cycling.

Souzana losifSouzana Losif - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a vet in in Warsaw, Poland, and would like to complete a certificate in small animal internal medicine in the furture. I previously worked as a locum before joining Medivet.

Jacky YuenJacky Yuen – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon

I studied at the University of Glasgow from 2011-2016 where I obtained my Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. I have also completed my Bachelor of Science major in chemistry, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2008-2011. I am particularly interested in small animals, surgery, exotics and medicine. At home, I have a royal python called Nagini. Outside of work, I enjoy gaming and travelling.

Pablo GarciaPablo Martin Garcia – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon

I have a degree in Veterinary Medicine which I obtained in 2012. I studied in Leon (Spain) between 2006- 2011 and Turin (Italy) between 2011 and 2012. Before joining Medivet, I was working in a mixed animal practice in Spain. My special areas of interest lie within emergency and critical care (ECC) and surgery. In Spain I have two German Shepherds and my family owns a farm with 500 cows. Outside of work, I enjoy running and travelling; I usually run races up to half marathon distances.

Lui Allen-DealLui Allen-Deal - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and I am very excited to start my new career as a vet. I'm very interested in exotics but I love all animals from cats to gerbils to royal pythons. Outside of work, I am a keen snowboarder and I love climbing and sailing.

I joined the Medivet family in October 2014 having previously completing a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management. I am now a permanent member of the Kentish Town team, whilst also studying at the Medivet Training College. I have a keen interest in surgical nursing. At home I have two rescue cats called Caspar and Monkey who was hand reared. 

Merlean HallMerlean Hall – Mobile Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1994. Then in 2008 I completed a diploma in Management. Before joining Medivet, I was a senior course lecturer for veterinary nursing. Prior to this, I spent my days working as a veterinary nurse in practice and also in managerial roles. I am particularly interested in supporting student veterinary nurses during their training, including laboratory and medical nursing practice. Outside of work, I enjoy keeping fit, cooking, and engaging in fun activities with my five-year old daughter.

I have always had a passion for working with animals which became clear when I did work experience at Medivet Risedale. This made me want to pursue a career in veterinary nursing. I have a bearded dragon, 2 hamsters, a cockatiel and a dog who thinks she is human!

Leanne Henry - PCALeanne Henry - Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I have studied Animal Care & Management, and have various experience with animals. I have 3 cats and 1 rabbit, and love horse riding.

Maja JakubowskaMaja Jakubowska – Mobile Patient Care Assistant 

In 2003, I gained a BA Honours degree in Education in Poland. I studied Animal Management in 2012 at the Capel Manor College in London. Before joining Medivet, I was studying for my qualifications and working part-time as a waitress. I am particularly interested in veterinary nursing and parasites. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, travelling, watching films, reading books and taking part in outdoor activities. 

Rebecca LovedayRebecca Loveday - Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I joined the Medivet family in early 2015 as a Patient Care Assistant. My previous job role was working within a boarding kennel and cattery. I have also completed a number of work experience placements with animals before joining with Medivet. I am enjoying learning about the medical side of being a Patient Care Assistant and I look forward to broadening my knowledge within Veterinary Nursing. I have 2 cats at home and a dog. I enjoy reading, going for walks and training my dog, and swimming in my free time. 

Alexa VargasAlexa Vargas – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I studied Zoology (BSc) at Reading University and graduated in 2012. Before working at Medivet, I qualified as a teacher and taught for a year at a secondary school in Manchester. I completed my newly qualified teacher (NQT) year, but decided to return to my original passion of animal care. I have spent two months in India where I volunteered with two animal rescue organisations, working mainly with street dogs. I am really excited to start training as a veterinary nurse as I love being able to contribute to society. I love cats and horses, and at home I have a rescue cat called Jess. Outside of work, I enjoy keeping fit at the gym, going horse riding and learning languages.

I have recently gained a qualification in Animal Care & Welfare. I have always wanted to work with animals, and would love to volunteer with animal charities abroad. I have Doberman called Tyson, and two terrapins.

Laura Cunnick - PCALaura Cunnick - Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I previously worked at a vet practice for 6 years as an Animal Nursing Assistant, before moving on to work as a Cattery Assistant. I am excited to pursue a career at Medivet where I can train to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse. At home I have 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 1 fish.

Heather WarnerHeather Louise Warner – Mobile Patient Care Assistant  

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc Honours in Wildlife Conservation. Before joining Medivet, I worked in a traditional sweetshop and also took part in conservational volunteer work in Spain, Africa, Poland and Ecuador. I am particularly interested in exotic animals and large mammals. At home, I have two dogs – a Staffordshire bull terrier named Alfie and French Bulldog cross Boston Terrier named Jarvis. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, conservation work against poaching and illegal pet trade and photography. 

Elsa BrooksElsa Brooks - Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I have a degree in drama and film studies, but decided that I couldn't wait to make a career out of working with animals! Before joining Medivet I was dog walking/sitting and looking after my little hamster Gus.

Sasha HunterSasha Hunter – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

After doing A-Levels, I worked in pharmacy for four years and trained as a pharmacy technician. I have joined Medivet as a patient care assistant and look forward to progressing to becoming a veterinary nurse. I enjoy looking after small animals, as I foster rabbits and cats. At home, I have a domestic short-haired black and white cat called Bruce Wayne. Outside of work, I am busy looking after my foster animals, going to the gym and doing kick-boxing classes.

Laura BatesLaura Bates – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I am really looking forward to developing my career in the veterinary industry. I am particularly interested in feline care and own two cats; Beth who is a ginger Persian, and Paris who is a Ragdoll. I also have five Orandas goldfish. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling (off-road and on-road) and running.

Before joining Medivet, I was a horse riding instructor and I’m looking forward to working as a PCA. At home, I have a gorgeous chocolate Labrador named Brandy. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog and horse riding. 

Tara Glendon - PCA Float Tara Glendon- Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I joined Medivet in November 2014 after completing an emergency healthcare course. I absolutely love working with small pets. Outside of work I enjoy socialising with friends and family and keeping fit.

Hannah SillarsHannah Sillars – Mobile Patient Care Assistant 

In 2014, I graduated from the University of Brighton with a BSc degree in Biological Sciences. Before joining Medivet, I worked in a motorbike dealership workshop – so this is quite a career change for me! I am particularly interested in all dog-related veterinary areas. At home, I have a lovely Labrador named Fred and a rabbit called Charlie. In my spare time, I enjoy playing netball.

Before joining Medivet in early 2015, I worked as a Receptionist at a Medical clinic. I have always had an interest in animals and knew early on that I would like to work with animals. At home, I have a hamster called Pip and a tortie kitten called Myrtle.

I studied animal care at college for 2 years before joining Medivet. I have a special interest in animal behaviour. At home, I have my own black and white cat called Twinkle. 

Shayna Cordery - Mobile PCAShayna Cordery – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

Before joining the Medivet family, I was working towards my qualifications in dog grooming at Dogs Delight in Chiswick. I was previously working in retail for 5 years. I enjoy working with animals and am thrilled to join Medivet. At home, I have 2 chinchillas. I enjoy going for walks and looking for new pets!

Jacqueline NapierallaJacqueline Napieralla – Patient Care Assistant

I have GCSE and A-levels from Hornsey School for Girls and in 2013, I graduated from Middlesex University with 2:1 in BSc Psychology. Before Medivet I worked in a home for 3 years as a support worker, I also worked as a team leader supporting individuals with autism, mental health, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. I am new to the profession and I have an interest in all areas of the profession, I am especially looking forward to learning new skills and broadening my knowledge. At home, I have a black and white short haired domestic cat called Honey. I enjoy horse riding, playing tennis, going to the gym, socialising, watching films and listening to music.  

Nichola OrchardNichola Orchard – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

Before joining Medivet, I completed my BA (Hons) in Textile Design as well as worked as a Dog Host for Barking Mad. At home I have 1 dog and a giant African land snail. I love being outdoors and recently completed my level 1 in sailing. I also enjoy racing in 5ks and 10ks as well as completing obstacle courses.
