Nobody likes going to hospital, but our veterinary team always ensure that each patient is made to feel as safe and happy when they need to stay with us - be it a cat tent for privacy, games & fuss to stay entertained, or extra thick blankets for our older visitors to rest comfortably.
As well as our permanent staff at Eynsham, we also have a team of mobile staff who work in several Medivet practices across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. Click here to view a list of mobile staff members who may work at Eynsham from time to time.
Laura Gallagher – Veterinary Surgeon
I studied in Edinburgh and achieved my BVM&S in 2000. Before joining Medivet, I spent ten years living in Wellington, New Zealand, where I was working in a small animal practice. I love small animal work, especially soft tissue surgery. At home, I have a curly coated retriever called Rocco who is ten years old. Outside of work, I enjoy BMX racing with my partner and son, and going hiking.
Natalie Challis - Head Veterinary Nurse
I have always wanted to work with animals so I completed a foundation degree in Equine Science and Management. I have also volunteered for the Blue Cross in the equine centre and the kennels. I have a black and white cat called Pebble and a lovely horse called Montana.
Daniella Tombs - Student Veterinary Nurse
I joined Medivet in February 2013 and have always had a passion for working with animals. At home I have 2 Husky crosses called Buster and Poppy who go to Medivet Eynsham. I started college in September 2014 and I am currently in my second year of training.
