Meet the Medivet Oxfordshire Mobile Team

Medivet have a team of mobile staff who deliver the highest standards of veterinary care backed up by a personal and caring attitude dedicated to providing service of the highest standard in a sympathetic, friendly and reassuring manner across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. 

Mobile Veterinary Surgeons

Cristian MurguCristian Murgu – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2005 in Romania, I worked for 1 year in Yorkshire in a small animal and horse practice. I also worked in South Wales in a small animal practice before joining Medivet. I like to develop my skills in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound examinations. Back in Romania, I have 3 cats and a dog of my own.

Francesco BraccoFrancesco Bracco – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon 

In 2014, I graduated as a veterinary surgeon in Bologna, Italy. Before joining Medivet, I took part in internships and permanent work between Italy, Spain and the UK. I am particularly interested in soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care and medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy sports (swimming and football), travelling, listening to Jazz and Indie music, and cooking. 

Jaime Lago MartinezJaime Lago Martinez – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon

In 2015 I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at University Santiago Compostela in Spain. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a vet practitioner at Multiwet in Warsaw, Poland and previously at Naya; a small animal clinic in Spain. I am very interested in treating and caring for small animals. At home I have a dog called Rubio. As well as a vet, I am also a musician and love playing my guitar outside of work.

Ines BaraoInes Barao – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in January 2015 from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Before joining Medivet, I was doing work experience in a veterinary clinic in Witney. My special interests lie within internal medicine, imaging diagnostics and research work. At home, I have a rabbit called Storm. In my spare time, I really enjoy doing all types of workouts, especially Crossfit.

Ellie BuffetEllie Buffet – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Edinburgh University in 2016. I also did a biology degree and biomedical research masters at Imperial College, London. My special interests lie within internal medicine and exotics. At home, I have a Cross-breed dog called Summer and a Domestic Short Hair cat, called Maki. Outside of work, I enjoy going hiking, horse riding (especially eventing) and dog agility.

Mobile Nurses

Gabrielle WheelerGabrielle Wheeler – Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse

I am looking forward to working as a patient care assistant at Medivet. I previously worked at a training and rehabilitation centre for race horses. I found this interesting as I love horse riding. I also spent a month in Africa doing conservation and working with a local vet near Kruger National Park. This was a fantastic experience and I would love to go back one day. I have 3 beautiful pets, one dog called Teddy and two cats, Tia and Smokey.

 

Kadie PlumridgeKadie Plumridge - Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse

I joined Medivet in June 2010 after studying for a National Diploma in Animal Management. I have an assortment of animals who keep me on my toes, including one very naughty hairless rat named "Tia Maria".

Hayley PimmHayley Pimm – Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse

Prior to Medivet, I achieved a diploma in Animal Management at Cirencester College. I am now enjoying working at Medivet and studying to become a qualified veterinary nurse. I have 3 pets – a Goldendoodle called Riley and two cats!

Hannah HewittHannah Hewitt – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

I undertook a degree in Wildlife Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University before moving to Oxfordshire. I have a cat called Oscar and in my spare time I enjoy hiking, running, cycling and baking.

Serena JenkinsSerena Jenkins – Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse

I graduated with a BSc in Equine Science at Oxford Brookes University and also obtained A Levels and GCSEs. Before joining Medivet, I worked in the horse unit at Blue Cross Animal Charity in Burford, Oxford. My special areas of interest are rehabilitation and rescue animals. At home I have 2 rescue cats and 2 horses. In my spare time I enjoy horseback riding and travelling. 

Hannah FathersHannah Fathers – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

Before joining Medivet, I was studying for my GSCE’s and also worked in a care home part-time. I love animals and my special interests lie within animal behaviour and animal anatomy. At home, I have two mini Lop rabbits called Belle and Button, and two cats called Jazzie and Milo. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and also volunteer at the care home I previously worked in.

Alice DavisAlice Davis – Mobile Patient Care Assistant

Before joining Medivet, I completed my A Levels and then worked as a nurse assistant for a year. My special interest lies within laboratory work. At home, I have two adorable Boxers called Tabasco and Duke. Outside of work I have a variety of interests which range from reading, watching TV, spending time with my dogs, running and yoga.
