Medivet Wantage - Danetree Veterinary Surgeons

Welcome to Medivet Wantage. We have a wide range of facilities and services that allow us to give your pet the best veterinary care possible. In addition to this, we have the support of our large Medivet network, helping us to benefit from further facilities and specialist knowledge.

Our premises is beautiful and spacious with plentiful free parking. The waiting area is sectioned into cat and dog only areas, on Mondays and Wednesdays we also hold cat-only clinics between 3pm–4pm. This allows for a better experience for our more anxious feline patients.

We assign clients 15 minute consultations; this ensures that our veterinary team can be comprehensive and thorough, whilst you ask as many questions as you wish. An array of consultation times, including evening and Saturday appointments are available.

Medivet Wantage has been extensively refurbished and upgraded. Our Wantage vets are equipped to deal with most cases, serving clients from Wantage, Grove, The Challow's, Letcombe Regis, Didcot, Lambourne and beyond.

Specialised equipment is available on-site and 24-hour care is available to patients cared for at Wantage, by transferring them to our Medivet Woodstock 24-hour hospital as required. In this way, Wantage is able to provide its patients with the full array of care provided by Medivet.

I graduated in Dublin in 2002. I take a special interest in internal medicine, and cuddling puppies and kittens! I love working as a vet and I was very proud to have been nominated by clients for Petplan's National Vet of the Year Award 2015 and 2016. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife, my kids - Leo, Holly and Rufus, my beloved springer Castro and working cocker Puli.
