Agneszka NagadowskaAgneszka Nagadowska - Night Veterinary Surgeon

I am a night vet at Woodstock 24h centre. Since I can remember I always wanted to work with animals. I graduated from Lublin veterinary school in Poland in 2003 and, after working one year in a busy veterinary hospital, I moved to the UK. I spent a few months volunteering in one of London's animal charity centres and I joined Medivet in 2005. I am enthusiastic about all aspects of veterinary practice with a special interest in emergency, critical care and surgery. I am planning to start studying towards small animal surgery certificate this year. Apart from work, I love walking and playing with my 2 Great Danes and I also have a cat.

Lyubima DimitrovaLyubima Dimitrova – Night Veterinary Surgeon

In 2005, I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in Sofia, Bulgaria. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a veterinary surgeon in Bulgaria. I am particularly interested in cardiology, X-rays and ultrasound. At home, I have a dog. In my spare time, I enjoy ice skating, spending time with my children, and hiking mountains.

Nursing Team

Laura HiggsLaura Higgs - Head Veterinary Nurse

I started my nursing career with Medivet in 2005 and qualified in 2007; soon after became head nurse. I love working in the 24 hour hospital and getting to be part of such a large variety of cases. I have a particularly interest in critical care and nutrition. In my spare time I like spending time with my husband and my children – Isabel, Emilia and Neela (my beautiful cat).

Cynthia ReaderCynthia Reader - Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse

I joined Medivet in October 2006, after 8 years of working in a market research position, as I decided fulfil my passion for looking after animals. I qualified as a RVN in 2009, and I'm now part of the clinical coach team helping student nurses with on the job training. I also assist our head nurse with the day-to-day running of the surgery. My strong interest is animal behaviour; especially when they are being hospitalised for longer periods of time. Outside of work I help out at the RSPCA Blackberry Farm to gain more experience on how animal behaviour changes when kept in kennels for long periods of time, and what enrichment we can provide to help them feel less anxious. I have 2 cats, and in my spare time I like to stay healthy by training for triathlons - I particular enjoy open water swimming during the summer time.

Deborah Allen

Debbie Roberts - Senior Veterinary Nurse

I joined Medivet in October 2008 as a student vet nurse and qualified in September 2012.  I spent the first 22 years of my working life in various different office based jobs before I finally gave into my love of caring for animals to become a veterinary nurse.  I don't know what took me so long but I love it and don't plan to change careers again.  I am very pleased to be part of a great team at Woodstock where I have taken on the responsibility of training for new patient care assistants. At home I have 2 cocker spaniels, Riley and Rosie and Watson the cat.

Zoe BradleyZoe Bradley - Veterinary Nurse

I started working at Woodstock in 2011, and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015. I am particularly intrested in emergency and critical care and nutrition. I have four dogs, a Terrier cross called Gemma and three Cockapoo's called Maggie, Betty and Rupert.

Sharon LumSharon Lum - Night Veterinary Nurse

I have worked at Woodstock since 2002 when I started my veterinary nurse training. Previously I was working in animal welfare & boarding kennels. I qualified as a RVN in 2006 and have experienced various nursing roles since then. I am happy to say I have now settled as a night nurse at Woodstock. I really enjoy giving my all to the emergency care we do here at the practice, as well as giving lots of advice on the phone for clients. I have a Labrador called Noodle & three cats - Groovey, Melody & Bella. During my time off Noodle & I like to travel around the UK in our campervan, especially spending time by the sea & visiting historical houses & castles.

Claire Montgomery

Claire Montgomery - Student Veterinary Nurse

I have been working for Medivet since 2012 and have been with the Woodstock team since July 2015. I am currently working towards my veterinary nursing qualification, which I will hopefully complete soon. I have a particular interest in critical care and wildlife. At home I have my very handsome cat, D'Artagnan and my one-eyed dog, Eddie.

Laura SatchwellLaura SatchwellStudent Veterinary Nurse

I completed my BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science in 2014 from the University of Lincoln. I am a cat lover and look forward to learning more about cats and the care of cats with Medivet. At home, I have 2 cats of my own and 3 chickens! I enjoy going to the gym and playing volleyball in my spare time.

Reception Team

Lucy O'DellLucy O’Dell – Client Care Assistant

Before joining Medivet, I was a manager at a supermarket, whilst studying my Animal Care and Management Level Three qualification. At home I have a Newfoundland called Loki and a cat called Zelda. I cannot wait to start my new career with Medivet so I can further my studies, especially when it comes to learning about dogs! Outside of work I enjoy walking Loki, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Cattery Assistant

Sally BridgemanSally Bridgeman - Cattery Assistant

I work at the cattery at Woodstock. I have been with Medivet since June 2006. I live with my son, dog, cat, 2 rats and I foster orphaned and injured hedgehogs for a wildlife sanctuary. I always wanted to work with animals, so when I saw the cattery job advertised I called straight away! When I was offered the job I was over the moon, sadly I left my old job with Age Concern, but my desire to work with animals was much stronger. This has been the most rewarding job I have ever done and I never have that feeling of not wanting to go to work.

Adi -Senior -PartnerAdi Nell - Senior Partner and Head of Professional Relations

I graduated in 1992 and gained my Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 1998. I have worked as an assistant, locummed for over five years and ran a dermatology referral practice. I was the Resident in Dermatology at the Animal Health Trust and spent time at Cambridge Vet School, too. I joined Medivet in 2002 as a Partner in Hayes, and moved into the senior partnership later that year. I am very active in representing Medivet to the wider profession and have served on BVA Committees and as President of the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons.

Louise RonanLouise Ronan - Senior Area Manager

I've been one of Medivet's Area Managers since 2009. Prior to working for Medivet I spent 15 years in veterinary practice. I did my veterinary nurse training in Essex and then moved to Oxford to work as a qualified nurse before being promoted to head nurse at a veterinary practice in Wantage. Whilst there I acheived a Diploma in Management Studies but was unable to utilise my new found skills fully. Luckily for me, Medivet bought my practice and the current area manager was retiring so I was able to step into her role. I now look after branches in Oxford, Coventry and Reading and work with wonderful, caring teams in all areas. At home I live with my partner Shawn, three chickens and two tortoises. I've only been a chicken owner for a couple of years but there is a real danger of me turning into a crazy chicken lady as I absolutely adore them!

Vicki MerrittVictoria Merritt - Area Manager

I have been working with Medivet since 2007, in which time I have been to college and passed my NVQ2 exams in veterinary nursing. I since decided I wanted to pursue a different direction but couldn't part with the veterinary environment. I was very fortunate to be offered the role of managing our Oxford practices. I am very grateful to work with a wonderful group of people and I very much look forward to my future at Medivet.
