Katie Lamb – Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse
I obtained my NCVCA from Rodbaston College. Before joining Medivet, I was a Student Veterinary Nurse at the PDSA. I have a special interest in inpatient care. At home I have a dog named Flick (Springer Spaniel), a cat named Barnaby (Domestic Short Hair), and two horses named Honey and Sid. Outside of work, I enjoy horse riding and baking.
Samantha Higley – Student Veterinary Nurse
Before joining Medivet, I was a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and who had suffered brain injuries. I studied health and social care while waiting to enter into my dream career in the veterinary industry. I hope to go on and qualify as a veterinary nurse. I enjoy all aspects of my work and enjoy learning new skills. I currently have a pony, two rabbits, two bearded dragons and a few fish. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and pets. I enjoy riding, swimming and going to local events.
Lucy Banks – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I studied and worked as a chef whilst waiting to secure a placement in a veterinary practice- it has always been my dream to become a veterinary nurse. My special areas of interest lie within working in ops. At home I have a golden Labrador called Buddy and a Springer Spaniel puppy called Roodi. In my spare time I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, going out and socialising with friends.
Nicola Searle – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a degree in Film Production Technology. I had a change of career as I wanted to follow my passion of working with animals. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a volunteer for the Cats Protection and local vets, as well as my day time job in media and communications. I love looking after the animals when they are recovering. At home I have two cats called Rollo and Ragnar (they are long haired, with Maine Coon in them). Outside of work I enjoy travelling, socialising with friends and learning to play the drums!

I am thrilled to now be a part of the Medivet family. I have a special interest in nurse clinics such as the weight clinics we run here at Shawbirch as well as the puppy parties we hold. I enjoy spending quality family time with my husband and three children. I also enjoy visiting family and friends as well as walking my dogs.
