Veterinary Surgeons

Vitor SilvaVitor Silva - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Vila Real Veterinary School in 2004. A Leonardo da Vinci scholarship allowed me to practice in Madrid for six months in an exotic specialist clinic. In pursuit of a valued career, I decided to come to the UK in 2005. I was initially based in Milton Keynes and then undertook some locum work around the UK. In 2008 I took the opportunity to move to London, and joined the Medivet team as night vet at Richmond. Critical care is one of my passions. In October I moved to our Greenwich branch where I am now a Partner.

Nursing Team

Katie ShineKatie Shine - Head Veterinary Nurse

I have been with Medivet since June 2003. I worked as a student nurse in Medivet Battersea for almost 2 years before becoming Head Nurse at Southfields in September 2006 where I then qualified in February 2008. I had a son in March 2010 and returned to Medivet with a head nurse position that year. Being a Mum and full time Head Nurse is challenging but I love it! I have a keen intrest in Radiography and like to watch films and spend time outdoors with my son. I have an exotic household which includes my African Grey Parrot Giselle and my Bearded Dragon Kobi.
