Bridget Power - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from University College Dublin in 2014. I am looking forward to further developing my interest and knowledge in companion animal medicine and surgery during my employment at Medivet.
Nadine Schoppa – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in March 2015 and studied in Giessen, Germany. Medivet Battersea is the first veterinary practice I joined after qualifying as a vet and now i am working across a selection of Medivet practices in the South West of London. I am particularly interested in surgery. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading, going out with friends and keeping fit. At home I have a cat named Joshi.
Lucie Stohanzlova – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I studied at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Science Brno, in the Czech Republic and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in June 2015. I moved to London straight after to work as a vet as I have always wanted to live in the UK! While in Brno, I worked at an intensive care unit in a small animal practice as a night receptionist. My experience there led me to become particularly interested in emergency and critical care. At home, I have a guinea pig named Phoebe and enjoy jogging, climbing and cycling in my spare time.
Almudena Vicente Marcos - Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I started at Medivet at the end of February 2011 and love having the opportunity to take care of lots of animals. I have a huge passion for cats.
Anna Grancicova – Mobile Resident Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified in 2015 as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice, Slovakia. Before joining Medivet, I worked for a couple of months in a small practice in Slovakia and after that, I spent six months working in Austria in a referral clinic. My special interests lie within soft tissue surgery and feline medicine. At home I have a nine year old cat, who is a European Shorthair, called Lady. I also have a mixed breed eight year old dog called Stephan. Outside of work, I enjoy volleyball, table tennis, horse riding, swimming, fitness, yoga. Going out with friends for a nice cup of coffee is my favourite way to spend Sunday afternoons.
Stefania Nalon – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated in Veterinary Medicine, in 2010 from the University of Padua, Italy. I have worked in small animal practices in both Italy and the UK. My special interests lie within internal medicine, ultrasound and ophthalmology. At home I have a 50kg cross breed dog called Martino! In my spare time I am busy being a mum, and I also love drawing, trekking and travelling.
Sheila Naranjo – Mobile Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon and graduated from the University of León (Spain) in 2015. Before joining Medivet, I worked in a very busy hospital in Canary Islands where I started my professional career, then I decided to move to England and I worked in a very nice veterinary centre in the area of Norfolk before joining Medivet´s family. My special interests lie within internal medicine, ultrasonography and exotic animal medicine (particularly birds), but I enjoy quite a lot all the aspects of my work. Outside of work, I like to go out with friends and doing sport. I really enjoy all the activities we can do in the nature like hiking, running, cycling, skiing. I cannot imagine my life doing another kind of job, as I feel immensely happy helping and taking care of animals. My greatest pleasure is to see how my patients stay healthy.
Ellie Taylor – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a degree in specialist hair and makeup and before joining Medivet, I did freelance hair and makeup for TV and film. I was also a pub manager assistant so I have had a lot of customer-facing jobs. I am very interested in general pet care of all cute animals and I look forward to meeting everyone’s pets! At home I have a dog, a rabbit and a parrot. Outside of work, I enjoy running, looking after and cuddling animals, and long walks in the countryside with my dog.
Catherine Whillans - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I lived in South Africa for 3 years before returning to the UK. I have always been passionate about animals since I was a child and own a dog, Lottie and a cat, Teddy.
Jodie Mckay – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a national diploma in Equine Management. I am also a qualified BHS Riding Instructor. Before joining Medivet, I taught horse riding for all ages and abilities. I enjoy caring for sick animals and assisting them in recovery. At home, I have 4 cats of my own. I enjoy horse riding and traveling in my spare time.
Kalisha Green - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I was previously a PA to the director of a gas company, however I hope to become a knowledgeable and helpful nurse. Currently I have no pets but I really want a few dogs, a cat and a horse!
Sarah Allan – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Photography, and I have nearly finished my Diploma in Veterinary Care. Before joining Medivet, I worked in retail. I love caring for animals and making sure they’re happy! At home I have a Staffordshire bull terrier named Bow and a rabbit called Ronnie. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and dog walking.
Florence Smallwood - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Previously I ran my own Pet Care Business for over 4 years before joining the Medivet team as a Patient Care Assistant. I have a special interest learning about vaccinations, laboratory work such as blood work and ultrasounds. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, watching movies and dog walking.
Régan Massey – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked for an online travel agency and was fortunate enough to travel to parts of Africa. At home, I have a dog, a cat and two fish. In my free time, I enjoy horse riding, reading and attending music gigs.
Ashvinder Bath - Mobile Student Veterinary Nurse
After working as an animal carer, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the animal health field. I joined Medivet in March 2013 and am hoping to train to become a qualified veterinary nurse.
Emma Cumming – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I achieved an FdA Graphic Communications in 2006 from Kingston University. I have previously worked in retail and logistics with my last role as a Visual Merchandiser at House of Fraser. At home I have a cat called Percy, two guinea pigs (Sprout and Munchkin) and three fish. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, cycling and I like to read when I get the chance.
Laura Pedersen - Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I qualified from Bangor University with a degree in sports science, and went on to work around the UK and in the Phillipines as a wakeboard instructor. I love to keep fit, read Spanish books and look after my 2 dogs Louis and Buster, my amazing Staffs, who I taught to swim and wakeboard.
Takiya Franklyn - Patient Care Assistant
I was previously a performing arts student at Richmond upon Thames College and obtained a level 3 diploma in acting. However, working with animals has always been a passion of mine and so when I saw the opportunity to work at Medivet I jumped at the chance. In the future I hope to travel and work around the world once I've become a qualified nurse. I have a German Shepherd dog called Frisky, and have always wanted a pet snake.

I have a passion for animals and I am always willing to go above and beyond for each animal’s needs. I am excited to join the Medivet family where I can apply and further develop my animal care skills. I enjoy dog walking, traveling and seeing friends in my spare time.
Rebecca Martin – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a degree in Animal Management and Care Taking that I received from Guildford College in 2010. Before joining Medivet, I worked as a debt recovery officer. I have a special interest in caring for animals and helping them in recovery, making my role as patient care assistant a perfect fit for me. I look forward to further developing my skills with Medivet. At home, I have a black Labrador, a cat, fish and a snake. In my spare time I enjoy swimming and photography.
Laura Ferguson – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before I joined Medivet, I was a general manager at a gastro-pub in London. I love animals and I am particularly interested in animal physiotherapy and looking after pets throughout their recovery. Unfortunately, I do not have any pets at the moment but would love some! In my spare time I enjoy watching films and running.
Samantha Dewar – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a degree in Theatre and Performance from Leeds University and well as a NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration. Before joining Medivet, I volunteered on a farm as well as worked as Head of Reception for Perfect Smile in Putney. I have a particular interest in surgery and look forward to learning about this area of veterinary medicine in practice. In my spare time I enjoy snowboarding, Photoshop and design, gaming, and going to the zoo.
Rebecca Caulfield – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I have a BSc in Animal Conservation and Biodiversity from Hadlow College which I achieved in 2014. I have now decided on a career which involves directly caring for animals. Before joining Medivet, I studied animal care and worked in a children’s day-care. I have also been volunteering at a wildlife rescue centre for the past year. I am especially interested in the biology behind the medication I will be assisting with in my new role. I have two cats called Sweetie and Harvey, as well as eight pet mice! Outside of work I enjoy jogging, yoga, and volunteering at a wildlife rescue when I can.
Zoe Harris – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Medivet, I worked in customer services at an investment company. I am really interested in exotic animals and look forward to learning more about exotics in practice. At home, I have a rabbit and a pet newt! I enjoy running and am training to complete my first half marathon!
Keira Oliver – Mobile Patient Care Assistant
I obtained a triple distinction* in Level Three BTEC studying animal management and qualified for this in August 2016. Before joining Medivet, I studied Level Three Animal Management for two years whilst working part time at Debenhams. I own a three year old Beagle named Jasper. Outside of work I enjoy walking and playing with my dog. I also love horse-riding, which I have done for over 10 years.
