Very good vet when you're in there, echoes other comments. I did have a bad experience with the miserable soul who worked on reception desk: my cat was having a panic attack outside in travel cage as we lived nearby and she had zero sense of urgency. Totally in the wrong job for loving animals and hopefully been let go long ago.

I love these guys big time <3 They were there for me when I was teary eyed and worried I was going to lose my kitten and supported us through all the follow ups and diagnostic tests. I am so grateful for how much care they've shown my cat and helped me to find a treatment plan to manage his asthma - my boy was not feeling good AT ALL and now he's back to his normal, sweet, mischievous self, running circles round ceilings, kick jumping off walls, and skidding round corners after springs. They've also been really helpful with assisting with insurance claims, which is amazing because the financial burden can be hugely stressful on top of worrying about a poorly pet. I have a lot of confidence now as a pet owner knowing these guys are my closest emergency 24hr vet. Also, shout out to vet Leanne especially, what an icon haha

I cannot thank Medivet Chalkers Corner enough for their wonderful care of our elderly ginger cat Jerry. They tried everything to find out what the problem was and help. Sadly he was 19 and was terminal but they came to our home and helped him pass peacefully. They were totally honest, kind, empathic, efficient, and loving right to the end. Wonderful vets and nurses. Thank you all so much Your help and support meant everything to us and Jerry.

Fantastic staff and vets. Always patient and welcoming and supportive. This is the standard they set and has never fallen short of this on any of our visits. Richmond branch is the best and recommend them as the place for your beloved pet, if you’re wanting the best care.

I love Medivet Richmond. They helped my dog after he ate my husband's medication and needed to stay there for a few days a few years ago. A few months ago my dog's eye was very red and I stopped by and the queue outside was very long ( as they were doing some work in the reception area) but a very kind vet came outside to listen to my worries and took my dog in for a few minutes to check on his eye and returned him to me saying it was nothing serious and I needed only to keep on washing his eye with saline water. He did not even charge me. This showed me they are not only about the money, but they really care about the dog's wellbeing. Many thanks to Medivet Richmond and all the vets there! Kind regards, Cristiane and Dobby Gotink.

I previously had good things to say about this surgery but unfortunately have had to change that in recent months. I’ve given it 3 stars rather than 1 star as most of the staff are lovely and it’s open 24/7. I’ve had my cat admitted to here for emergencies on a few occasions. The first occasion they never updated me on his condition. I assumed it was an oversight and was just glad he was being looked after. On subsequent ones it’s been the same. You call for an update, they say they are busy and cannot update you but someone will call later. I asked the nurse on the phone to give him a fuss from me and her response was that she was too busy. Nobody ever calls. In the end I drove there and demanded to see my cat. All of the issues have all been from one person who works there. I’ve made a formal complaint to them before where I didn’t even get an apology. They have since apologised but only after I pushed and escalated it higher.

No words, but how unhappy I am with my visit to Medivet 24 Richmond. Very sad to say that I will try to never use them again.

I took my dog to Medivet Richmond with a very heavy diarrhoea and extensive rectal bleeding(and some point pure blood every 2-3hours). They not only failed to help us, but could not even correctly diagnose the problem. But also tried to fool us into taking tests and services costing over 750 GBP in order to tell us what the problem is. Also did not offer any antibiotics or remedy but the super expensive and useless ones costing over 450 GBP. After this visit we had a terrible night with more heavy bleeding and we had to go to a different vet.clinic.The other Vet Clinic identified the problem immediately and gave us everything we needed (special food, antibiotics and probiotics, all together 133 GBP all included visit + cost of meds). The bleeding stoped after the first dose of antibiotic in a few hours. We wrote complaints to Medivet 24 Hours Richmond with request for an apology and to return us our money for the visit that took only 10-15 min (150 GBP) and basically almost cost us our dog’s life, but they refused to do so. So it is same as a scam, pay 150 GBP to walk through the door just to find out that you should be ready to pay whatever they want to still get nothing. Their soul interest during my visit was to make me pay their bills for unnecessary tests and absolutely zero care for my dog. Absolutely horrible service with Medivet.😡 Go to any other vet but them as they are not interested in your pets well-being, but to treat you like a money bag. There are so many good practices out there that honestly care for your pet and have fantastic level of experience to save stress and worry by identifying a problem without trying to scam you out of your money. P.S: after reaching out to my community, I also found out that many pet owners experienced same problem, and paid for services, but did not even get a correct treatment plan with Medivet.
